City beach "Semeykin Island"

This place has everything you need, including fitness centers, volleyball and football courts, sun loungers and umbrellas (free to use), restrooms, and trash cans. At the beach, lifeguards and a medical professional are on duty, and PPS patrols and private security officers guard the area.

Berezkino Beach ("Smile")

How to get there: take the highway heading towards Zorkaltsevo from Tomsk for approximately one hour. At the fork, before entering the village, turn onto the highway heading towards Kolpashevo, then take a left at the "Berezkino" sign. There’s a 100 ruble entrance fee, but there’s also a free "wild" area.

Despite being somewhat remote from Tomsk, we featured the beach "Berezkino" in our review because it is one of the most well-liked by locals. It is situated on the grounds of the recreation center "Smile," close to the village of the same name.

The water’s entrance is mild, and the beach is sandy. The beach is grassy and the bottom is more muddy in the "wild" area.

There are restrooms and changing cabins as well as a volleyball court in the paid recreation area. There are lifeguards on duty, and a secure swimming area is fenced off with a net. There are two towers available for both adults and children! A little farther into the woods are swings, gazebos, and a trampoline.

There is a cafe and a kiosk close to the beach. Boats, catamarans, jet skis, and bananas can all be rented nearby.

Sennaya Kurya Beach

Location: south of the Kommunalny Bridge on the left bank of the Tom. Buses 36, 37, 81, 112, and 112c to the "Naberezhnaya" stop are the best ways to get there. Entrance free.

Within Tomsk’s city limits is another beach. He found himself by the Sennaya Kurya, a long, narrow lake that is a backwater of the Tom River. The water in this reservoir is quite clean, despite the fact that it is not flowing. The lake is 4.5 kilometers long, 100–200 meters wide, and reaches a maximum depth of 6-6.5 meters.

Sennaya Kurya has a sandy beach with easy access to the water and a gradual slope. It has all the amenities Semeykin Island has, including parking, restrooms, changing rooms, football and volleyball courts, and kid-friendly swings. You can hide from the sun by under the trees along the shore.

There are cafes, shops, kiosks, and places to rent boats and catamaran. Sennaya Kurya’s land hosted the renowned Festival of Colors a few years back.

Polyethylene (Cellophane) Lake

Location: 5 km along the left bank of the Tom, heading towards Novosibirsk from Tomsk. How to get there: it’s about 2 km from the Kommunalny Bridge towards Yurga.

A fully paved road leads to an incredible artificial lake near the city limits. Cellophane Lake, also known as Polyethylene, Cellophane Lake, or just "Cellophane," is a strictly rectangular filled lake that was formed in 1990 to serve ZAO Ovoshchevod and Tom’s financial demands, for which they blocked the Kislovka River.

Its top is 50 cm covered with earth, and its bottom is, in fact, entirely lined with polyethylene film.

The lake is well-liked by anglers because it has crayfish, rotan, and crucian carp. Families gather here to swim, have barbecues, and ride inflatable boats. There’s another little lake not far away.

Tomsk is ten minutes’ drive from the "Siny Utes" sanatorium beach. There is a sandy beach on the Tom’s bank, close to a pine forest. The resort offers parking, kiosks, restrooms, and drinking water—everything you need for a restful vacation. There are guards on duty. Rentable boats and catamaran options are available, and you can even visit nearby islands.

There is a large, undeveloped "wild" recreation area to the west of the sanatorium beach. In fact, the Blue Cliff itself is located at its terminus. From a distance, the exposed clay shale appears to be bluish-gray in hue. There once stood a watchtower atop a blue cliff, and afterwards an embassy hut for visitors and businesspeople from abroad and Siberia.

Boyarsky Lake

Location: On the left bank of the Tomi River, one kilometer west of the shared bridge. To get there, take buses Nos. 36, 37, 81, 112, and 112 to the "Naberezhnaya" stop.

Sennaya Kurya’s neighbor Boyarskoye Lake is merely 500 meters away. Boyarsky, Big, and Stepanovskoye are some of its names. This is identical to the hay Kurya, which is a remnant of the previous Tomi channel. The lake is roughly 600 meters long, sickle-shaped, and shallow overall, with a maximum depth of 6 meters in certain areas.

For several centuries, Tomsk locals have been taking "savage" vacations on Lake Boyarskoye! This area is serene, lovely, and a fishing enthusiast’s dream come true because of the availability of crucian carp, tench, pike, and perch.

Savinskoye Lake

Where is it: in the area between Stepanovka and Mirny villages. Bus #12, stop "Gardening Society Vesna," or #510, stop "Mikrorayon Romashka" are two ways to get there. By car: travel Bogdan Khmelnitsky Street from Tomsk, and turn right at the ST Vesna’s terminus.

Actually, Savinskoye Lake (also known as Bolshoy, Stepanovsky) is a dam that was built in the past to supply water to state farm fields. Its muddy shores and lack of recreational facilities notwithstanding, its closeness to the city, scenic beauty, and excellent fishing make it a favorite among Tomsk locals. It’s also fairly viscous at the bottom. Vacationers are concentrated in clearings along the coast, particularly in handy locations close to the main entrance where concrete slabs support the shore.

Sandy Lake

It is situated one kilometer from the Kommunalny Bridge on the left bank of the Tom, close to the tuberculosis sanatorium. Bus #36 will take you to the stop. Kedrovaya.

With a diameter of approximately 300 meters, Lake Peschanoye is a small, nearly perfectly round lake that is well-known for its sandy (naturally!) banks, pine forest bordering the shore, and, of course, its reasonable age.

Scientists estimate that this preserved natural monument dates back several millennia!

The lake’s western shore is more marshy, while its northern and eastern shores are being developed.

Despite the lack of beach infrastructure, there are usually a lot of vacationers here because the lake is practically inside the city limits. However, there are ducks and birds of the forest, crucian carp inhabit the pond, and lovely water lilies bloom. In the Peschanoye Lake, the water is yellow and opaque. A depth of 3.5 meters is reached.

Neftekhimovskie (Kopylovskie) lakes

They are located close to the village. Kopylovo. How to get there: from the village, drive along the Kuzovlevsky tract. Kuzovlevo made a right turn down the road. Zarechnaya. Utilizing buses 16/131 and 60/130, travel to the "Kopylovo" stop.

This entire network of man-made lakes (Kopylovskie, Neftekhimovskoye) was created by the flooding of abandoned sand quarries along the Bolshaya Kirgizka River. As a result, the water is clean and the banks and bottom are sandy. The water’s entrance is soft. This indicates that Kopylovskie Lakes are crowded with tourists on hot days. Although Kopylovskoye Lake was declared officially closed to swimming a number of years ago, it will still be used as a sand quarry. However, there are still a lot of tourists in this area. Take the nearby Neftekhimovskoye Lake, which has deep, crystal-clear water that is home to pikes and perch.
