A little bit of history

There once was a sizable village called Bugry on the edge of a sizable grove in this area, which is now a part of Novosibirsk’s Kirov district, a century ago. All that is left of it is the 1907–1909 malt factory building. Address: 67 Socialisticheskaya Ul.

The Bugrinskaya grove culture and recreation park opened in the 1970s in the southern part of the grove, and a beach was established by the river below it.

The surrounding area was altered during the construction of the new bridge: a portion of the forest was cleared (the Bugrinskaya grove now occupies an area of approximately 172 hectares), an observation deck overlooking the bridge was created, the park was rebuilt, and the cultural portion of the beach was relocated, ultimately ending north of the bridge.

You can enjoy the fantastic view of the Ob, the right bank, and the Bugrinsky bridge itself after ascending the pedestrian bridge that connects the "wild" and "cultural" areas of the Bugrinsky grove.

From the street, the path takes us to the park’s main entrance. Kozhevnikova, clever.

The park’s true "entertainment" area is relatively small, taking up only about 30 hectares of the overall area. The park has undergone significant positive change in the last ten years. A tiny area is home to a number of attractions: There’s a stage, and during our stroll, a brand-new kids’ play area was getting ready to open. The ski base and administration buildings are located here as well. There is a skating rink in the winter and ski trails (ranging from 1 to 7 km) nearby. Skates and skis are available for rent.

You can have a milkshake, ice cream, or coffee: A few more attractions can be found a little lower on the slope: a play maze, a trampoline, and—most intriguing of all—a "Zipline" that allows you to descend from a high bank directly onto the beach! Narratives suggest that this site offered more entertainment a year or two ago, but it’s still pretty active today. Along the slope are benches, adorable bird feeders, pedestrian alleys, and even a globe: Following these paths, you can descend to the observation deck: Still, you can see the Bugrinsky Bridge from practically anywhere in this area.

Alternatively, you can stroll down a kinder road that leads from the pavilions. It’s true that the grade is still fairly steep; in fact, riding a bike, scooter, or skateboard is forbidden!

We then descended to the river. The actual Bugrinsky beach was on the left of the bridge, with a "wild" beach to the right.

A special location in the city where families can experience the ideal fusion of leisure, nature, and relaxation is Bugrinskaya Grove. It’s the perfect getaway for kids and parents seeking a respite from the bustle of the city, with its verdant forest, serene park, and picturesque beach by the river. It offers activities for all ages, from picnics and walks to beach days and outdoor play.

Bugrinsky beach

This is, in fact, a small bay, fenced off by a long sand spit. Thanks to this, there is no current here, and the water warms up a little more.
The entrance to the water is gentle, very clean. In general, the beach has literally been transformed in recent years. It seems to have everything you need: many comfortable changing cabins and showers, a clean toilet, lifeguard stations, a rental point for sun loungers and other beach accessories, a cafe, a first aid station, a police station, a playground for kids. By the way, a zipline also arrives here. We have only one confusion about the beach. Although it was officially opened at the beginning of summer, there are signs everywhere saying "Swimming is prohibited"… Understandably, ignored by hundreds of vacationers. Perhaps someone will clarify what is going on here?

Families can find peace and quiet at Bugrinskaya Grove, which combines outdoor recreation areas with scenic views of the surrounding area. There is something for everyone in the park, whether you want to spend a leisurely day at the beach or taking a stroll through the forest.

While the nearby forest trails are great for a leisurely picnic or a cool hike, the beach area is great for enjoying sunny days. The park is a wonderful place for adventure and relaxation because of its natural charm.

In the middle of nature, Bugrinskaya Grove is a great place for families to spend quality time together. Its harmony of leisure pursuits and peaceful surroundings guarantees a pleasurable stay for people of all ages.
