Children have an innate curiosity that drives them to constantly learn new things and explore their surroundings. Nurturing this curiosity requires finding enjoyable and interesting ways to help them improve their thinking abilities. For this reason, one of the most interesting resources we found is LogicLike, a game-based learning application that helps kids develop their logical thinking skills.
Our group made the decision to test LogicLike in order to learn more about how well it can assist children in honing their problem-solving skills as well as how it functions. The experience proved to be entertaining and educational, involving everything from puzzle solving to unicorn hunting in brainteasers.
We’ll discuss how LogicLike kept the kids interested, our personal experience using it, and whether or not it truly makes learning feel like an adventure in this post. Warning: there were undoubtedly a few surprises along the route!

Why the issue of online platforms is relevant?
According to a study published by the British company ChildWise, modern children spend almost more time in the virtual universe than in the real world: children aged 5 to 16 years on average sit in front of a computer, tablet or phone screen for six and a half hours a day! What are they doing there?? According to Kaspersky Lab reports, children are most interested in cartoons and video blogs on the Internet (17.25% of all requests), translations of texts into other languages (13.59%), social networks (9.88%) and games (9.09%). They also search for dictionaries, math games and materials on space and scientific topics. If your little one often “hangs out” on the Internet, you should make sure that the pleasant is unobtrusively combined with the useful. Here we asked ourselves what options are possible. And the first one that came into our field of vision, based on teachers’ recommendations and parents’ feedback, was LogicLike.
Our editorial team used LogicLike, an educational platform that helps kids develop their critical thinking abilities, to take a hands-on approach. We investigated how the app promotes critical thinking and problem-solving while looking for those "unicorn" moments of discovery through captivating games and puzzles. Here’s what we discovered during our test drive and how it fosters the growth of logical thinking in an entertaining and engaging manner.
What is LogicLike and who is the platform created for?
LogicLike is a tool that promotes the orderly growth of thought. The methodologists behind the project have created curricula for kids ranging from 4 to 8 years old and teens ages 9 to 12 years old, but based on the reviews, adults will also find a lot of interesting stuff to do.
Given the platform"s specialization in developing logic, memory, attention, and spatial thinking, it will be especially useful for preschoolers and primary school students. Since, according to research, this is the optimal age for forming the foundation of all thought processes. In addition, solving various kinds of puzzles at a young age allows you to simultaneously stimulate both hemispheres of the brain, and therefore has a direct impact on the development of speech and writing, emotional stability, coordination of movements, etc. Which, as a result, affects academic performance and mastery of educational programs of varying complexity, as well as self-confidence. The platform offers many tasks in 50+ topics of varying levels of complexity. Among them are logic, mathematics, cybersecurity, courses about animals, countries and continents, various types of puzzles, riddles, and rebuses. There are also creative games: interactive coloring, getting to know musical instruments, creating your own character and others.
Depending on your age and learning objectives, LogicLike lets you choose from a variety of courses and educational games (you can still access other activities during the lessons, but the goals can be changed).
What we noted during the test drive?
- The LogicLike team knows how to interest a child in learning and make the process motivated and exciting. Thanks to the abundance of fun tasks, rewards and other "pleasantries", classes with the platform are similar to completing an entertaining quest. Which is especially attractive for such a difficult subject for children as mathematics!
- Among the many classes, Mermaids and Unicorns really intrigued us! A fun break after more "serious" courses.
- We were especially captivated by My World, which allows a child to act as a director and create their own stories. Thanks to the various backgrounds and animated stickers, it"s easy to "hang out" for an hour or two, coming up with more and more new fairy tales.
Therefore, despite the site’s name, there are many other skills that can be "improved" with its assistance besides logic.
- Even the most active kids won"t be bored: the educational base is regularly updated. We tested it ourselves: we got to the recent update of elementary mathematics – the application was supplemented with games for counting to 10.
- The main "currency" of the platform is gold stars, which the participant receives for each correctly solved problem. You can save them and exchange them for cards with images of LogicLike heroes (a kind of honorary trophies), trying to collect a full collection (this will take a lot of time, there are a lot of cards!). A great incentive to study and solve as many problems as possible!
Additionally, you can invite a friend for free by using the stars:
- What"s especially nice is that LogicLike is generous with praise: after each correct answer, the child is literally showered with confetti, encouraging new victories.
- The "Rating" tab allows you to compare your results with the achievements of other participants, sorting them by friends, cities and teams (a great option for those who are inspired by the spirit of competition). You can get into the world ranking of players after completing 16 tasks.
Every course comes with a certificate as well.
This method makes it simple to become addicted to the "intellectual trainer," as the drive to crack new challenges and start the next course increases with every achievement, award, and broken record!
- In your personal account, you can track your child"s progress thanks to detailed reports on the work done (including the number of tasks solved and mistakes made).
- Parents can be calm about the safety of the child: there are no advertisements or third-party links on the platform, and going to the parent section in the application to change the settings requires solving examples – which in the case of preschoolers is not for everyone. In addition, LogicLike is certified by the independent international organization kidSAFE Seal Program, which confirms compliance with standards for working with children.
- The ability to access from various devices becomes a savior in everyday situations – we managed to study not only at home, but also while waiting in line at the clinic, and while sitting in a cafe.
What we missed?
- I would like more creative activities like My World. Great for developing imagination and at the same time allowing you to switch from studying in the usual sense to useful leisure. And, of course, we are waiting for new backgrounds and stickers!
- It would be good to add assignments and courses for school subjects: mini-lessons on language and literature, foreign languages, natural science and others.
- Assignments and printouts for studying outside of devices would be a great addition.
Generally, more time is needed than what was allowed for the test drive in order to evaluate the true efficacy for a child’s cognitive development and the impact on academic performance. That much is certain—the youngster is happier sharing the information he has learned and is more knowledgeable about animals now!
Paid educational platforms are already commonplace in today’s world. A few activities and games are free to try out on the LogicLike platform. You’ll need to subscribe if you want to access every feature. Keep an eye on the auto-renewal checkbox; make sure to uncheck it if you wish to manually control purchases.
In conclusion, we can state that LogicLike is a valuable tool for a child’s overall intellectual development. Young users enroll in classes and complete assignments willingly and enthusiastically without assistance from their parents. In turn, they can effortlessly monitor the child’s development and, if preferred, enjoy a fun time with their young ones. Fun, practical, and engaging (for kids and adults alike)! The platform will keep the child occupied just as much as a computer game or a cartoon marathon, and it will also gently foster the development of thinking skills.
Our experience on LogicLike’s test drive was enjoyable and instructive. It kept us interested with its imaginative games and puzzles in addition to fostering the development of critical thinking abilities. For children and parents alike who wish to investigate learning in a fun, interactive way, the platform is an excellent resource.
Finding unicorns and figuring out puzzles evolved into more than just a game; they became tools for fostering creativity, logical thought, and problem-solving skills. The difficulties were ideal for piqueing children’s interest and encouraging them to reflect more deeply.
All things considered, LogicLike is a great tool for families who want to add excitement to learning. It combines enjoyment with significant cognitive development, transforming screen time into valuable time.
