MUZ "Maternity Home No. 2" is a specialized obstetric facility offering gynecological and obstetric care. Constructed in 1963, Maternity Hospital No. 2 is among the most ancient facilities providing obstetric care in the city of Omsk. Participating in the global initiative "Mother and Child" since 2004, MUZ Maternity Hospital No. 2 holds the WHO designation of "Hospital of a benevolent attitude to the child" since 2006.
The hospital’s organizational structure consists of the following departments:
20 beds in the Obstetric Observation Department, 30 beds in the Obstetric Physiological Department, 5 days of stay in the Obstetric Department of Pregnancy Pathology, 6 beds in the Anesthesiology-Intensive Care Department, 6 beds in the ANESTHESIOLOGY-RENEMY BECTION for Newborns, 54 beds in the Neonatal Department, 25 beds in the Gynecological Department, 5 day care centers, a clinical diagnostic laboratory, and a centrally located sterilization department are all available.
The gynecological department performs hysteroscopy, diagnostic procedures, medical abortions, mini-abortions, vaginal plastic surgery, uterine tumors, ovarian cysts, and other types of surgeries.
For family births, the maternity ward offers private delivery rooms furnished with all the tools required for "classic" births as well as births in the "vertical" position. The delivery units have heated children’s tables, cardiotachometers, and multipurpose beds for delivering babies.
High-quality emergency medical care for newborns is made easier by the way the maternity hospital’s neonatal intensive care unit is organized within its structure.
All of the wards in postnatal departments are designed for mother and child stays together, which guarantees the success of educating moms and providing for the newborn while promoting exclusive breastfeeding.
Open days for married couples take place every week. They offer advice on the "Birth oriented to family participation" (ROUS) program, breastfeeding, and hotlines 67-07-16, 67-37-22, 67-32-03, and 67-35-03 for any questions regarding mother and child healthcare.
Hematology, general clinical, biochemical, iso-serology, and a 24-hour express laboratory are all included in the clinical diagnostic laboratory service. In addition to conventional laboratory research techniques, contemporary laboratory equipment with software has been learned and used in recent years. New techniques are used in laboratory research, including informative and contemporary approaches to studying blood gases, coagulation hemostasis, acid-base balance, and blood electrolytes.
The maternity hospital’s activities in the Mother and Child project are focused on improving the health of the mother and newborn, offering the best possible professional assistance, and supporting nursing mothers—despite the critical role that modern medical equipment plays in the facility. The International Children’s Fund, the World Health Organization, and centuries-old customs and folklore serve as the foundation for all of the maternity hospital’s operations.

Department of pathology of pregnant women
There are two wards, a floor-level toilet and shower, and the department of pathology of pregnancy. The 1-2 person enhanced comfort wards come equipped with a shower, a toilet, the required furniture, and home appliances.
Before giving birth, every woman must go through a required examination and, if needed, consult a geneticist. The right of a woman to be observed by one obstetrician-gynecologist, who will deliver her baby, begins at the 36th week of pregnancy when she signs a contract for childbirth under a voluntary health insurance agreement. The patient can call the doctor at any time of day or night to discuss any questions or issues that have come up, as well as to make a birthing appointment. The doctor and patient are in constant communication.
Maternity ward
Individual delivery rooms are used for childbirth, and midwives and obstetricians keep an eye on laboring women during this time. One patient can stay in the prenatal ward with her spouse if she is in labor. The woman is able to move freely, walk, and assume comfortable positions. The newborn is placed on the mother’s stomach and given the breast after that. The woman may opt for anesthesia or pain relief during childbirth (subject to the terms of the VHI agreement).
Postnatal ward
The mother and child are transferred from the maternity block to the postnatal ward at the same time. There, the mother is taught from the very beginning about the characteristics of the postpartum phase, including how to care for her newborn and breastfeed.
Relatives are welcome to visit "Payers" in a separate room equipped with a refrigerator.
The infant is beside the mother; it can be put in the children’s section if preferred. Experts advise giving the baby food only when it’s hungry. You are welcome to bring the baby’s disposable diapers and your own clothing.
"Comfortable Birth" program
When signing a contract for childbirth at the second maternity hospital, a woman is entitled to one obstetrician-gynecologist’sobservationbeginning in the 36th week of pregnancy. This doctor will then deliver the baby. Additionally, the patient and the doctor are in constant communication; the patient can call the doctor at any time of day or night, seek advice on any issues that may arise, or request to give birth.
Pregnancy management programs typically cover the following topics:
- a complete clinical and laboratory examination of the pregnant woman;
- a detailed biochemical blood test;
- a coagulogram with the determination of lupus anticoagulant;
- serological tests for intrauterine infections.
A regular state women’s consultation offers the same manipulations. The main distinction is that a private clinic won’t require you to wait in line. It should be remembered that some of the tests will still require payment.
In terms of paperwork, the clinic offers an exchange card, maternity leave applications, and, if needed, student or sick leave certificates. A birth certificate is the only document that private medical facilities are not permitted to provide. As such, you will still need to get in touch with a state clinic. Furthermore, there’s no reason to put this off: in accordance with Russian legislation, an expectant mother receives a certificate upon completion of at least 12 weeks of observation at the antenatal clinic.
This document is divided into three sections: coupon No. 1, which is used to pay for prenatal clinic services; coupon No. 2, which is used to pay for maternity hospital services; and coupon No. 3, which is used to pay for pediatric clinic services. Consequently, don’t overlook its third component—the observation of the child during his first year of life—even though pregnancy management and the actual birth are paid for and the certificate has no special significance.
Childbirth under a contract
The pregnant woman has the option of having a paid birth or a "regular," so to speak, birth regardless of whether she was observed in a private or women’s clinic. In the second scenario, a voluntary health insurance (VHI) contract is drafted, usually with the presence of business representatives, at an insurance company or in a clinic or maternity hospital.
The terms of the insurance agreement state:
- consultation on labor management tactics;
- ultrasound, laboratory and diagnostic examinations;
- pain relief during childbirth;
- use of disposable instruments;
- presence of a spouse during childbirth;
- after childbirth, placement in a 1-2 bed ward with all amenities;
- visiting the mother and child during their stay in the hospital after childbirth.
Partner childbirth
THIS SERVICE IS AVAILABLE IN OUR MATERNITY HOSPITAL FOR FREE!
ANY pregnant woman registered with a women’s clinic is eligible to participate in partner birth.
A medical examination of the expectant father (a list of tests and examinations can be found below), the presence of special clothing (also listed below), the desire and consent of the expectant mother and father, and joint or independent childbirth preparation are mandatory conditions for partner births.
REGISTRATION OF DOCUMENTS for partner childbirth: at 37–38 weeks of pregnancy, the expectant mother and her spouse (partner) need to schedule a meeting with the deputy chief physician for obstetrics and gynecology. This meeting takes place on Wednesdays between 10 and 13 hours. Bring your husband’s tests, your exchange card, and the results of any further research. We are waiting for you to give birth following an interview and a determination regarding the viability of giving birth in our maternity hospital.
EXAMINATION OF THE HUSBAND: a certificate from a therapist regarding the state of health; tests for AIDS, syphilis, hepatitis B and C (valid for three months); fluorography (valid for one year). Each and every medical facility administers tests.
SPECIAL CLOTHING: The husband will receive a surgical suit at the maternity hospital; he should bring a change of clothes and washable rubber slippers from home.
The husband is present when the doctors on duty perform partnership births in separate delivery boxes. The spouse is not present during the husband’s transfer or stay in the postpartum unit.

Maternity Hospital No. 2 has been part of the global project "Mother and Child" since 2004. In 2006, it was awarded the WHO designation of "Child-Friendly Hospital."
Maternity Hospital No. 2 has been involved in the Russian-American project "Mother and Child" since May 2004. Since 1999, the United States Agency for International Development has provided financial support for this educational project on maternal and child health, which is being carried out in the framework of Russian-American scientific and technical cooperation with the Russian Federation’s Ministry of Health.
The "Mother and Child" project’s activities are intended to improve family planning services, particularly for women who are in labor or have recently had an abortion, as well as the health of women and infants, including those resulting from the implementation of techniques whose efficacy has been demonstrated by contemporary medicine. The project’s objectives are to guarantee that expectant mothers are properly monitored, to assist and encourage effective breastfeeding, and to promote a healthy lifestyle.
The project includes women’s consultations at the Sovetsky District No. 3 maternity hospital, the maternity hospital’s inpatient department, and the children’s clinic. Family members participate in women’s consultations where the "Mother and Child" project’s guiding principles are first put into practice. There are classes on family planning, breastfeeding, and prenatal care. Married couples are invited to "Open Days" at maternity wards so they can become acquainted with the staff and the setting where the patient will give birth.
A married couple needs prenatal preparation for a successful delivery. This includes psychological counseling, learning self-pain relief techniques, learning about the normal course of childbirth, learning about the guidelines for women’s nutrition during and after pregnancy, and learning how to nurse and care for a newborn. "Mother and Father Schools" have been set up in women’s consultations for this reason.
When a patient is admitted to the obstetric hospital to give birth, they remain in a separate delivery room until they are moved to the postpartum unit. The mother and child are transferred from the maternity block to the postpartum department simultaneously in the same room. There, the mother is taught from the outset about the characteristics of the postpartum phase, how to care for her newborn, and how to breastfeed.
One important factor in lowering the incidence of disease in newborns is breastfeeding. Children are fed at least eight to twelve times a day, at their request.

Overall, I preferred the second one. For some reason, I felt the need to select a maternity hospital quickly this time around. After going over all the details again, I discovered that MY maternity hospital is number two. Something about me is ingrained. Not only was I born there, but I also gave birth to my daughter and my nephew there. My personal experience has confirmed that they raise decent kids there. ))

Freeze That would be my choice as well. only due to the fact that it is kid-friendly. She just worries that I went to the first one early today and she won’t make it.

They register everyone in the second one, I don"t know anyone who was refused |
My friends were turned down in two different ways: first, they were sent to Maternity Hospital 6 with amnesia, and the second, involving locations, was tense in some way.

And even with the conditions and separate room, I preferred the second maternity hospital over the first after completing a questionnaire in the voting process today. In the second, there is a better mindset, more amiability, greater flexibility in disputes, and a decrease in the promotion of drugs. Overall, I think the second one is better; we can see that not having a shower or a double bed is what matters most to me.

Freeze First, it shuts off near the sink. She genuinely wants to go there, but all they provide is the opportunity to lie down beforehand so you know how it will end. She wants to be in the second and any other one if it comes out after closing. Ultimately, the city won’t be included in the regional? She was in the second today, but they told her to go there on Thursday.

KAT’s signature will be accepted as is. Now is a better time to make a decision and proceed to sign where it truly desires. I do not know of anyone who would refuse to be recorded in the second.

A buddy wishes to give birth in the second hospital, girls. for the ambulance to take her there, without any sort of agreement with the physician. How would one go about doing that? simply come and request to sign? Can they turn her down? Will they accept her in the first exchange if the agreement is signed there and she decides to change her mind and choose the first?

In 2000, I arrived there by ambulance. I remember a scary shower behind a curtain, shaving with an old razor in the emergency room, a creepy atmosphere, a cold and scary prenatal room, an old angry grumpy midwife who screamed with and without reason. |
A painfully familiar situation But after this unfavorable greeting, everything went much better. I gave birth in the 2nd maternity hospital in 2005, in the summer. I got a wonderful midwife, she helped the head pass so that the perineum did not tear.
I gave birth with my husband, and at night, he chased the nurses. If I had been alone, I would have given birth alone too, because.. I had already started labor, and the nurses were sleeping, he literally dragged them away from the bed.
After the birth of my daughter, I spent half a day lying in the hallway. The maternity hospital was overcrowded. But it"s not scary, at least I recovered a little during this time, since then I was in bed with the baby and had no time to rest.
I think one hundred are all the little things, the most important thing is not convenience, but the child’s health and favorable births.
The only thing I want to advise girls is to shave at home

Gave birth in June 2008 to RD No. 2. Appreciative of the doctors’ demeanor and his son. No enemas or razors were present, and the recipient completed a questionnaire before going to the lab. There, they conducted a urine and blood test. moved on to boxing, where a husband was already in place. No one presided over the soul; feel free to move, rest, or do as you please. A maternity chair that is purely comfortable and partially automated.
Following a 13-hour labor, we proceeded to the KS (clinically narrow pelvis). A spinal epidural was made. Many thanks to Valentina Mikhailovna Bychkova for her navigation during my surgery! The father was immediately placed to his chest, cleaned, and left on the handles for ten minutes while the man was stitched up. In critical care, they took care of us and assisted with everything. They brought a son and were already sent to the postnatal ward on the second day.
I was in a regular ward for two mothers in the postpartum hospital. The kids can be washed at the adjacent sinks. I took the diapers I was given from home. We spent time together while I was still in my diapers. Extremely cordial personnel, including the head department, nurses, and pediatrician. Of course, nursing moms shouldn’t be feeding their babies, but their food was excellent. Even so, it would be challenging without packages from home.
Naturally, the conditions are bad; there are no shower cabins or renovations in the European style. There’s one shower and one toilet for the whole floor. I wasn’t too bothered by this, though, and I didn’t have any particular issues with it.
In total, I would award nine points out of ten. I do not raise my hand to write less. For the second time there, God willing.
