You will have to submit an application if you want to retake the Unified State Exam in any of the subjects that same year.

With one exception, starting in 2024, candidates may elect to switch from a specialized to a basic mathematics exam, and vice versa. Two weeks prior to the exam is the latest that this can be completed.

If you have a valid reason, you may alter the list of state exams you must take or submit your application after the deadline. Hospitalization, forced relocation, or other strong arguments could be the cause of this.

Recall that the minimum scores needed to be admitted to Russian universities in 2024 for the Unified State Exam were approved in September by the Ministry of Education and Science. In comparison to the current academic year, they have not changed. Universities will not accept results that do not meet the minimum requirements. Some of them set their own minimal requirements that correspond to the officially acknowledged ones. To receive a certificate, however, one must pass the basic math exam with 3 points (on a 5-point scale) and the Russian language exam with 27 points.

Although the Unified State Exam (USE) can seem intimidating, students can approach it with confidence if they have a clear understanding of the schedule and guidelines. It will go more smoothly if you are aware of the crucial dates and helpful preparation advice.

To prevent needless anxiety on test day, it’s imperative to prepare ahead of time, study regularly, and practice adhering to the instructions. Students can make sure they are fully prepared and ready to succeed by concentrating on these important areas.

Recall that the USE is merely a first step toward more opportunities. Students can reach their goals and give their best work when they take the appropriate approach.
