Thanks to the double zipper, you can change the baby’s diaper without removing the diaper completely. The fastener is sewn in a safe way, so it cannot harm the baby.

• If you are making a warm diaper, fold the outer fabric, inner fabric and padding polyester together, stitch the edges, leaving a small area, and then turn the diaper inside out and carefully sew up the remaining hole.
• Sew a soft Velcro fastener to the top.
• Decorate the diaper with any decor you want, such as patterns, an animal face, a picture of a car, an embroidered name or some cute applique.

The following steps are involved in sewing this version of the cocoon, which is also fairly easy to do:

• Buy a piece of knitted fabric and a zipper.
• Draw a pattern for a matryoshka diaper 24 cm wide and 52 or 62 cm long.
• Cut out the back of the diaper and 2 front parts from the fabric. In addition, cut out the lining, collar and protective strip.
• Process the edges with an overlock or stitch with a zigzag.
• Glue the edges of the shelves with thread-stitched interlining in the place where the fastener will be.
• Sew the edges of the protective strip on the machine, turn the strip inside out, attach the zipper to it and stitch.
• When connecting the shelves at the bottom, attach the strip with the sewn-on zipper and make a mark.
• Separately sew the strips from the main material, then sew the strips from the lining fabric in the same way.
• Pin the main fabric and the back lining together, then stitch them together.
• Sew the collar to the neckline, leaving about 6-8 centimeters from the side cut for the zipper.
• Fold the collar in half and sew it to the diaper so that it is located between the lining and the main fabric.
• Sew the zipper to the diaper.
