Young and gifted, Nikita Mikhailovsky lived his roles and performed "to the point of breaking." At the age of 28, his star rapidly faded after the release of the movie "You Never Dreamed of It." Over the course of these 27 years, Nikita appears to have juggled multiple roles in theater and film, his own productions and artwork, his relationships with family, his extraordinary love, and raising two children.
It’s true that he was unaware of his son, his second child.

Nikita"s childhood: two fathers and the death of his mother
On April 8, 1964, in Leningrad, Nikita Mikhailovsky (Sergeev) was born into a creative family. His mother, Alisa (Alevtina) Ivanovna, was a fashion model, and his father, Alexander Mikhailovsky, was a director. Since the family disbanded when Nikita was a small child, he spent a considerable amount of time thinking of director Viktor Sergeyev as his father.
Nikita took on the last name of Sergeev, his stepfather, who loved the boy as his own. Nikita discovered the existence of his biological father when he was six years old, and he subsequently grew close and trustworthy with him. It transpired that the boy had two fathers while growing up. Nikita changed his last name back to Mikhailovsky when he got his passport at the age of sixteen.
Alice also divorced Sergeyev, remaining alone with her son in a large, empty apartment. A few years later, the woman"s health deteriorated – a congenital heart defect made itself known, with which it was impossible to give birth to a child. Alisa acted contrary to the doctors" prohibitions, giving birth to Nikita, but did not regret it for a day. The woman grew weaker day by day and soon stopped getting out of bed. Nikita looked after his mother very touchingly and patiently, did not complain to anyone and did not ask for help. He was tired, fell asleep in class, about which they even tried to call Alisa Ivanovna to school.
When Nikita was sixteen years old, his mother passed away; she was unable to witness her son’s success. That was the end of Nikita’s childhood. Nikita did not want to be alone as filming and creative get-togethers got underway and the house was crowded with friends and acquaintances.
Cinema and creative life of Nikita Mikhailovsky
It was evident from an early age that Nikita was developing into a creative person. He cherished creating art, singing, and writing poetry and fairy tales. Mom brought him to a modeling agency where the boy bravely strutted the catwalk and posed for magazine photos. He learned his first acting lessons during this filming.
Nikita, who was seven years old at the time and still went by Sergeyev, made his acting debut on a movie set. Even though the child only had an episodic role, it was evident that he had no fear of the camera and that he looked well in the picture. In the 1978 melodrama "Children like children," Nikita costarred with Rita Sergeyecheva. At the time, the boy was fourteen.
And he was cast in a leading role in the movie "You Never Dreamed" two years later, in 1980. The sixteen-year-old teen performed on a level with well-known performers. He played Romka Lavochkin so convincingly that it seemed as though he was living the part rather than just acting it out. The story of Katya and Roma gave Nikita hope and strength during times of despair, and the movie "You Never Dreamed" went on to play a significant role in the actor’s life.
Nikita, who was in the tenth grade, became famous after the movie’s release.
He was not struck by star fever. But as he got older, the young man decided he wanted to pursue acting. He enrolled in Agamirzyan’s course at the LGITMIK Institute of Performing Arts in 1981. Nikita left the Institute in 1986 with a degree. However, he did not put much effort into his studies because, given his background in filmmaking and level of education, he found many classes to be genuinely dull. Although Mikhailovsky was a master of improvisation, it was occasionally unclear whether he was acting or just being himself. Later on, he developed an interest in underground culture and established the unofficial "Theater-Theater" studio.
Another piece of work by Nikita that people remember is "Umbrella for newlyweds."
Nikita was able to portray nine prominent roles. Many of them left him feeling unfulfilled because they did not let him express himself fully or fully realize his potential as a dramatic actor. Nikita tried his hand at being a director, experimented a lot, and found a voice in the underground. He threw himself into directing for a year, learning from Anatoly Vasiliev. However, I gave up studying because I was bored.
Forever young and in love
Nikita Mikhailovsky had an unending love affair. And not a single girl was able to withstand his allure. He wooed Tatyana Kuznetsova, a classmate at the institute, but their heartfelt romance eventually faded and turned into friendship. Tatyana still has fond memories of Nikita, their friendship, and their years spent studying.
The actor always welcomed friends and had someone living with him in his apartment, which was more akin to a dorm. Additionally, Mikhailovsky’s married life did not result in a less crowded home, especially since his first wife, Anastasia Sorochan, was content with it. While Nastya stayed at home with little Sonya, Nikita frequently went to film. Her friends assisted her with the baby and household chores.
The first marriage was impulsive and young; the bride was already heavily pregnant when the couple tied the knot. Sonya, the daughter, was born on July 4, 1986. Nikita was twenty-two.
Nor did he intend to bring a child into the world to alter his course in life. Furthermore, Nastya freely acknowledged that she wanted to carry on attending parties and enjoying herself with friends. It is not shocking that this young couple’s marriage ended so quickly. Because Nastya took his daughter to live with her mother in Moscow, where her grandmother was primarily responsible for her upbringing, Nikita was concerned that he would not see his daughter very often. And once more, Nikita was able to keep up a positive relationship even after ending things with the woman he was once in love with.
Sophia, who is already 35 years old, looks and has a bright personality just like her father did. The girl was educated in England, went on to become a director, and spent some time living in Australia with her partner, where she produced a documentary on the Aborigines. She returned to Russia to continue making films after getting married and raising a daughter. He spends a great deal of time volunteering.
Nikita relocated from Leningrad to Moscow to be nearer to his daughter, where his biological father resided. Nikita met costume designer Katya, his second wife, in an art gallery during one of his visits to Pskov. She painted exquisitely, created theatrical productions, and displayed her artwork. In 1987, Nikita started painting and showing alongside her. He seemed to be in a rush to live, as he was always eager to take up new interests and gave his all to creativity.
The couple donated the money from the sale of the paintings at one of the exhibitions, which took place in London, to a charity that supports kids with cancer. And Nikita also developed cancer two months later.
Katya was a very homely person. She generated coziness – she decorated the interior with her creativity, cooked, surrounded Nikita with care. He warmed up in marriage with her, relaxed, found the place where he wanted to return. But his health was failing him. At first Nikita decided that he had overworked himself, then that he had caught a cold. The actor was treated for a sore throat, but the lymph nodes continued to become inflamed. And then a terrible diagnosis – leukemia – was made. True, the actor was not told about it, but was advised to be treated in England, and it was there that he learned the doctors" verdict. A bone marrow transplant operation was required, costing fifty thousand pounds, but first it was necessary to achieve stable remission.
"The entire nation raised the funds. In his program "600 seconds," Alexander Nevzorov declared the commencement of fund collection. Stars and Boris Yeltsin provided assistance. Furthermore, Nikita’s treatment at the expense of the United Kingdom persisted following an appeal to Margaret Thatcher, the Prime Minister of Great Britain.
Unfortunately, Nikita’s remissions were only temporary. It was not possible to have a transplant.
Nikita did not believe, even though he understood everything. He chose to use his allotted time in London to see every movie the city had to offer again. He remained cheerful and made numerous calls to friends and family. For Christmas, he flew in from England. Bidding adieu. He was taken to the plane steps on a stretcher when it was time to return because he was no longer able to walk. Katya went everywhere with him. She stuck by him all the way through. At the age of 27, Nikita passed away in London on April 21, 1991. The pair didn’t have any kids.
Currently, Katya is wed, resides in London, and has three kids. Interviews are not given by the woman.
A prophetic film and a found son
Superstitious people are actors. They dislike pretending to be dead. The communist Nikolai character in the movie "Esperanza" was one of Nikita Mikhailovsky’s final motion pictures. The hero is captured with his wife Annushka, and at the end of the movie, the White Guards’ bullets kill the couple. Prophecy or accident? And what if we also mention that a few years after Nikita passed away from cancer the actress Nadezhda Smirnova, who portrayed Annushka?
However, Nikita genuinely thought that "You Never Dreamed of It" was a prophecy for him. After all, he discovered his Katya, just like Romka Lavochkin did. And he thought he could escape death, just like Romka did when she fell out of the window. Nikita was unwilling to consider, or perhaps she was unaware, that Romka had actually died and fallen out of the window in the original ending of Galina Shcherbakova’s book. The author was requested to revise the last paragraph, though.
It was never revealed to Nikita Mikhailovsky that he was also father to a son. September 26, 1987, was Seryozha’s birthday. His mother Alina Alonso was an underground friend of Nikita’s.
Her apartment was a common gathering place for interesting people, including Nikita. Alina was nearly a decade older. Seryozha was thirty-three when she gave birth.
Why didn"t she say anything? After all, it turns out that Nikita came to his hometown, took a three-year-old boy for a walk, not knowing that it was his son. She understood that everything was too complicated. Nikita is an enthusiastic person. He left her a love note, and he himself left with his wife and daughter for Tallinn and disappeared for several months. Yes, Nikita was married at the time. It was not easy for Alina to raise a child alone, her friends helped. Sergey received his patronymic from the name of one of his close friends – Germanovich. And his grandfather"s surname – Tulyakov. Later, Sergei had a stepfather – Vladimir Shinkarev.
When her son turned sixteen, Alina Alonso revealed to him the truth about his father. He wanted to see his sister and locate his family right away. He was welcomed by his father’s side of the family. Since they are so similar, it was obvious that this was Nikita’s son. Sergey grew close to his grandfather Alexander Nikolaevich and made friends with Sophia. The son chose to become an architect after inheriting his father’s artistic talent for drawing and graduating from the Academy of Arts.
Sergey does not take offense at his father’s absence because that is just the way life has worked out. He and Nikita rewatched movies, his sister showed him his father’s artwork, and they read poetry and his notes aloud.
Even though Nikita Mikhailovsky is no longer with us, he was still able to influence his children’s destiny and give them a sense of his closeness.
